CUTTING PLASTIC OUT OF THE KITCHEN
Studies have found that brushes hold fewer bacteria than plastic sponges, especially when they are allowed to dry overnight. Even when using a plastic brush, these can shed microplastics and aren't as easy to take care of.
Natural vs Plastic
Made with sisal fibre, naturally oil-resistant without any chemicals, plastic, or BPA
Cleans scratch-free without the toxins or worries of microplastics and is anti-bacterial
Handy for handwashing light grease with an easy-to-hold handle and loop for hanging
Take hundreds of years to decompose and can shed microplastics
Many have used toxic chemicals to be anti-odour or anti-bacterial
Harbours germs and bacteria, need replacements very often and cannot be composted
