Plantish x Now Pop Up: Sponges With Personality
Unsolicited Dating Tips. Donut Worry. Unbothered Cat Squad. Wildfire Fishing Expedition. These pop-up sponges have far more character than the average kitchen tool, and the Set of 2 Axolotl Duo leads the line with the adult and baby designs paired together.
Each pop-up sponge arrives flat and expands when wet, making it ready for everyday dishwashing and kitchen cleaning. Selected sets also include hooks for convenient storage and air-drying between uses. Choose single designs, themed sets such as Pun-tastic Pals and I'm Fine, or hook versions that give the sponge a place to rest between uses. The humour is deliberate: a sponge you enjoy looking at is a sponge you are more likely to reach for instead of the disposable one underneath the sink.
Why an Axolotl?
The axolotl is critically endangered in the wild, threatened by urbanization, pollution, and invasive species. Now Pop Up supports axolotl conservation efforts through donations, reflecting its commitment to protecting these unique creatures.
Now Pop Up says its products are non-toxic and septic-safe, which matters for homes on a septic system. One reviewer told us she had stopped using sponges because they felt grimy after a few uses, until these. Wet it, scrub it, hang it up to dry: the routine is that simple. Adult and Baby Axolotl singles are available if you only need one.
Scrubbers, Soap and Kits
The Copper Scrubby is a copper mesh pad for the jobs a sponge gives up on, like baked-on residue. The Scrub Squad Buddy pairs a bamboo handle with two heads: a sisal and palm hybrid for stubborn stains and grill grime, and pure sisal for glassware and non-stick pans.
The 7.5 oz Now Pop Up Dish Soap Cake comes in a reusable tin featuring the Now Pop Up logo. Its fragrance-free formula is made with simple ingredients, including coconut oil, castor oil, and citric acid, offering a practical solid alternative to bottled dish soap. The Zero Waste Cleaning Crew brings together selected Now Pop Up sponge designs, a Dish Soap Cake, a hook, and the Scrub Squad Buddy in one convenient kit. With three themed bundle options, shoppers can choose a set that matches their favorite designs and everyday cleaning needs.
